Diretora cinematográfica e artista multimídia, Ingrid Marie Wagner é natural de Curitiba, filha do consagrado fotógrafo Helmuth Erich Wagner e da desenhista imaginativa Edith Pitz Wagner. Os Irmãos Wagner, Ingrid, Rosane, Elizabeth e Helmuth Jr ('Muti') iniciaram juntos suas carreiras como curta metragistas. A partir dos anos 80, participando de concursos de roteiros, viabilizaram produções em 16mm e 35mm. Tiveram filmes premiados em festivais no Brasil e no exterior, como no "Canadian Amateur Film Festival". No Paraná, foram reconhecidos tanto nos meios oficiais, com menções na Assembléia Legislativa e na Câmara Municipal de Curitiba, quanto nos empresariais, recebendo prêmios como o “Bichos do Paraná”, concedido a personalidades destacadas em suas respectivas áreas. Ainda prosseguindo a sua trajetória de cineasta, em 2006, já na era do cinema digital, Ingrid dirige, junto com Fernando Severo, o documentário “Helmuth Wagner, Alma da Imagem”. Em 1992, Ingrid inicia o seu trabalho com colagens e em 2008 lança o livro Ingrid Wagner - Colagens.

A movie director and a multimedia artist, Ingrid Marie Wagner is from Curitiba, the daughter of renowned photographer Helmuth Erich Wagner and imaginative drawing artist Edith Pitz Wagner. The Irmãos Wagner [Wagner Brother's], Ingrid, Rosane, Elizabeth e Helmuth Jr ('Muti') started togheter their career as Short Film Makers. From the 1980’s on, by participating in screenplay contests, they could carry on 16mm and 35mm productions. They were present at the “Canadian Amateur Film Festival” in the years 1977 and 1978; they received the certificate and Artistic Quality accreditation granted by “The Toronto Movie Club”, in 1979.
In Paraná, they were acclaimed as much in the official media, mentioned at the Legislative Assembly and at the Curitiba City Chamber, as in the business media, having received awards as the “Bichos do Paraná”, granted to notable personalities in their respective areas.
Still pursuing her career as a moviemaker, in 2006, at the digital cinema era, Ingrid directed, along with Fernando Severo, the documentary “Helmuth Wagner, Alma da Imagem” [“Helmuth Wagner, Soul of the Image”].
In 1992, Ingrid starts her work with collage and in 2008 release the book Ingrid Wagner - Colagens.
